Does the english version of Hellsing cut out the sex and violence of the Japanese version?
I was watching Hellsing and the first episode was Japanese and very violent. When I wached the second it was in english and seemed like parts were missing.

You might of been watching the OVA (which does not cut out anything, and follows the manga)
The regular Hellsing show, in my opinion sucks. ( I think that is the English one you are talking about) and does not follow after the manga.( goes a few episodes and then strays from the manga story)
So watch Hellsing OVA it rocks!!!
